Office Administrator – Volunteer
We are looking for a Volunteer to provide Admin Support for our team of Advisers and Assessors
Hours: Minimum 1 full day or two half days per week
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Updating local information system
- Answering the telephone, taking messages where appropriate
- Logging incoming mail on Casebook
- Moving, scanning and attaching of documents to Casebook
- Keeping staff and volunteer records updated on Casebook
- Filing
- Photocopying
- Ordering and organising leaflets
- Keeping the office clean and tidy
Personal skills and qualities that an office administrator needs:
- Ability to use IT e.g. basic keyboard / data entry skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Good organisation skills
- Sensitivity to the needs of others
- To be organised and systematic
- A commitment to the aims and principles of the CAB service
