Travelling to the EU? ✈️

A new digital border system that requires fingerprints and photos alongside a passport scan is coming into effect from today.

Make sure you allow extra time at the airport to avoid delays or disruption.

You’ll need a form of photo ID to vote, like:

➡️ a driving licence
➡️ a UK passport or passport from an EU country
➡️ a disabled or older person's bus pass

📣 Important dates to remember:

➡️ Register to vote - 20 April at 11:59pm
➡️ Apply for a postal vote - 21 April at 5pm
➡️ Apply for a proxy vote - 28 April at 5pm
➡️ Apply for free voter ID - 28 April at 5pm (England only)
