Fundraising Volunteers
Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell is an independent charity and although we are supported by the local council and others, we must raise additional funds in order to provide our free advice services for the public.
We are building an exciting programme of fundraising events for 2023-24 and need a volunteer team with the energy and enthusiasm to help us deliver it.
If you can spend a few hours a month lending a hand with organising events and raising funds then we want to hear from you!
What will I do?
The opportunities are many and varied – from running a stall at summer fetes, to helping organise a quiz, taking part in sponsored walks or bucket collections.
How much time will I need to give?
The time is variable, from a day a week to a few hours a month. We can be flexible about how much time is needed for the role so come and talk to us. Some work can be done from home but some may involve attending events or coming in to our office in Epsom.
What skills do I need?
We need people who enjoy working as part of a team, who are efficient and well organised with good communication skills, and preferably who have some experience of fundraising and/or organising small events.
The role is unpaid although reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. You will be supervised by the Publicity & Fundraising Manager.

Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds and we particularly welcome applications from disabled people, people with physical or mental health conditions, LGBT+ and non-binary people, and people from Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
