It all adds up! Public energy saving campaign now on TV

Today the government’s energy-saving campaign goes on TV for the first time. A 30 second ad shows how thinking energy for just 30 seconds could save hundreds of pounds.

The campaign uses the line ‘It all adds up’ to present some clear guidance. At ITV, Sky and Channel 4 viewers will find:

  • Quick and easy no cost actions
  • Low-cost home improvements
  • Spend-to-save home improvements

If the campaign catches on the official endorsement will help many families cut the cost of staying warm this winter. Yet some will still find it hard to pay their energy bill. Our Citizens Advice to them is to speak to their supplier or contact us at CAEE for help in finding a way forward.
