Family Building Society chooses Citizens Advice as community partner for 2024

The Family Building Society is focusing its work in the community this year on Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell (CAEE).

The Society has recognised our engagement with local residents and students on cost-of-living issues such as housing, heating and benefits. It notes the vital support we provide and our help in navigating people to other local support services.

Vicki Webb, Director of People and Learning & Development, said:

‘We felt this very much accorded with the Society’s ethos to help everyone have a home and, being local, supports the community we work in.’

Exciting development

The new partnership includes a financial donation to help CAEE fund additional activities. But the Society is also encouraging staff volunteers to lend the charity a hand in practical ways during the year.

Lisa Davis, CAEE Chief Executive, said:

‘What an exciting development. We are always looking for collaborations and partnerships with people who share our commitment to serving the community. The Family Building Society is a perfect fit with its local roots and interest in community wellbeing’.
